Part-time Graphic Designer

Job Description

C2’s client, a privately held lighting company founded in 1892 ,designs and manufactures superior lighting fixtures for some of the world’s harshest environments. Their products are built to last, backed by excellent customer service, and supported by innovative LED options that increase lifespan, reduce maintenance costs, and slash energy consumption. They seek a part-time Graphic Designer to support ongoing creative needs as they build out an internal marketing function.

This is a flexible, hands-on opportunity to help shape the visual voice of a brand in growth mode. With no prior in-house marketing department, the part-time Graphic Designer will work directly with leadership to clean up legacy files, create updated sell sheets, and assist with various design tasks. You’ll need to be a great communicator, ready to jump in, pivot as needed, and own your creative space with confidence.

Start Date: ASAP (July preferred)
Duration: Contract, part-time – approx. 10 hours/week (may fluctuate based on needs/demand)
Location: Remote OK
Compensation: Based on experience; paid every 2 weeks as a W2 employee of C2
Benefits: All C2 talent working 30+ hours/week for 30 days are eligible for medical, dental, optional vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and PTO accrual
Technology: Must have own computer; Adobe Creative Cloud access can be provided if needed

Key Responsibilities

• Design and update marketing collateral, including sell sheets, one-pagers, and product graphics
• Clean and organize existing files that may not have been properly formatted or saved
• Support ad hoc creative requests and quick-turn design needs
• Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders (non-designers) to translate concepts into clean, effective visuals
• Ensure brand consistency across all materials

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design (freelance or in-house)
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Excellent communication and responsiveness in remote settings
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and self-manage
• Comfort working without rigid processes or large design teams
• Own computer required (Adobe license can be provided if needed)
