Job Title: Growth Designer (Contract)
Location: Remote (US time zones only; East/West Coast OK)
Engagement: Part-time (20–25 hrs/week), 3–6 months with option to extend
About the Role
Our client a well known fintech brand is seeking a Growth Designer focused on lower-funnel performance creative. You’ll own the design and production of paid social/display ads and lifecycle emails, with a strong emphasis on building and shipping high-performing assets quickly. A major plus is the ability to both design and code emails to streamline our workflow and reduce turnaround times.
What You’ll Do
- Design performance-oriented creative for paid social and display campaigns
- Design lifecycle and campaign emails aligned to brand and performance goals
- Code responsive HTML emails (HubSpot preferred; strong HTML table-based email builds)
- Translate briefs, data, and testing insights into clear creative hypotheses and iterations
- Ensure fast turnaround and smooth handoffs across marketing and design
- Maintain brand consistency while optimizing for conversion and lower-funnel KPIs
- Collaborate via Slack and participate in a simple, multi-round interview/feedback loop
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years in growth/performance design or similar role
- Strong portfolio of paid social/display ads and lifecycle email work
- Email experience is essential; HTML email coding experience is a high priority
- HubSpot experience ideal; transferable HTML email skills (tables) are valuable
- Understanding of performance metrics and creative testing
- Comfortable with a fast-paced startup cadence (typical 9–6 ET collaboration)
- Excellent communication, responsiveness, and reliability
Nice to Have
- B2B design experience
- Fintech or financial services background
Schedule
- 20–25 hours/week over 3–5 days
- Monday–Wednesday availability preferred for email activity
- Flexible on time zone; coordination during US business hours
