We are looking for an exceptional Senior Designer who is looking for an immediate contract. This person will need to be within the European timezone on this occasion.

The Senior Designer will be an essential part of the game team, not only supporting the design but forming the glue between all the other disciplines. You will become the expert on the project with an innate understanding of all aspects of the game, driving the product forward through collaborative leadership and design excellence.

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of the design team creating new and exciting features and content for a AAA open world console project.
• Ensure smooth, clear communication within the design, development and publishing team
• Create and maintain design documentation
• Derive insight from the data analytics team and other sources to create a response plan
• Respond to and implement feedback from data, reviews and playtests
• Able to concisely articulate game concepts and analyse game mechanics
• Supporting junior designers

• 4+ years game development in a design role
• Experience working on at least 1 AAA Console project.
• Proven skills in product prioritisation and rapid design decisions
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
• A good understanding of the requirements of an in-game economy

Nice to haves

• Experience working with physical products
• A playful approach to game design
