Real opportunities. Real impact. Your career, redefined.

(NOTE: A human reviews every application at Oceans, so please apply for only one position and only once a year—if you're a better fit for another role, we’ll route your application accordingly and if we’re not quite ready for you, we’ll reach back out later).

At Oceans, we help the best and brightest of Sri Lanka to take advantage of opportunities that otherwise wouldn’t be available to them, while supporting entrepreneurs around the world. Our community (we call them Divers) don’t do surface work—they go deep to solve complex challenges and make a real impact. And in doing so, they support bold ideas and expand their skills, broaden their expertise, and grow their careers, all without having to leave family and friends.

We’re hiring a Figma Graphic Designer to join a high-performance creative team at a fast-growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand. This role is ideal for a fast-moving designer who thrives in collaborative, feedback-driven environments and loves transforming ideas into visually compelling, conversion-focused ads. You’ll work closely with Creative Strategists, Video Editors, and Growth Marketers to bring high-volume digital campaigns to life that stop the scroll and drive measurable performance.

Accountability

As a Figma Graphic Designer, your success will be defined by your ability to translate creative insights into high-impact visuals that are both on-brand and performance-driven. You’ll take ownership of ad design production while maintaining efficiency, consistency, and aesthetic excellence across all deliverables.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

Creative Design & Execution

  • Design a high volume of static ad creatives and graphics in Figma for Meta, email, landing pages, and other digital platforms.
  • Work from creative briefs to concept and execute effective ad designs that align with performance goals.
  • Maintain brand consistency across multiple campaigns and channels.
  • Rapidly iterate on designs based on feedback, performance metrics, and testing results.

Collaboration & Workflow Management

  • Partner with Creative Strategists and Video Editors to align on campaign objectives and visual direction.
  • Organize and maintain structured Figma files, templates, and components for efficient collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date on visual trends, competitor creative, and platform best practices.
  • Support broader brand design projects such as packaging, web design, and collateral as needed.

Performance-Driven Creativity

  • Balance creativity with conversion—designing ads that are visually engaging yet strategically optimized.
  • Translate data insights into actionable creative iterations.
  • Contribute to ongoing A/B testing by developing new visual hooks and formats.

Colleagues

You’ll collaborate closely with the growth and creative teams.

At Oceans, you’ll also receive guidance and support from our Operations Manager, who will help you succeed in the role and ensure that you’re continuously growing and developing in your career.

Skills & Qualifications

At Oceans, we believe in T-shaped individuals — those who bring deep expertise in one area, paired with broad curiosity and interests. As a Figma Graphic Designer, your vertical focus will be in design execution and visual communication, while your horizontal strengths should include collaboration, organization, and creative iteration.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: 2–4 years in graphic design, ideally in performance or DTC marketing environments.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Figma — from component creation to file organization.
  • Design Fundamentals: Strong grasp of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • Performance Mindset: Understanding of how design impacts ad performance and conversions.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally with creative and marketing teams.
  • Work Ethic: Fast, organized, and comfortable with feedback-heavy environments and quick turnarounds.

Bonus skills:

  • Experience working on digital ads for Meta or similar paid social platforms.
  • Familiarity with data-driven creative testing and performance optimization.
  • Experience managing design systems or reusable Figma libraries.
  • Exposure to brand identity, packaging, or web design projects.

Diversity of experience is core to Oceans. You are expected to work inclusively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, ensuring that both personal and collective dignity are supported.

During the interview process, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills in the following areas:

  • Design Execution: How you translate creative briefs into compelling ad visuals.
  • Figma Proficiency: Examples of how you manage efficient workflows and organized file structures.
  • Iteration & Feedback: How you respond to performance data and adapt designs quickly.
  • Brand Consistency: How you maintain cohesive visual identity across multiple campaigns.
  • Collaboration: How you work with strategists and editors to align creative direction.
