About the Role

As an Associate Graphic Designer at Learning Pool, you will join a lively and collaborative content design team, supporting the creation of engaging graphics for online learning projects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your design skills while working alongside experienced designers, animators, and content developers. You will contribute creative ideas and help deliver high-quality visual content that supports our client and company goals.

What You Will Be Doing

Roadmap & Delivery Support

  • Assist in designing and delivering graphics and visual assets for online learning projects and marketing materials.

  • Support the optimization of graphics for digital platforms, ensuring quality and efficiency.

  • Organize and maintain design files and version control under team guidance.

  • Manage multiple design tasks within projects, supporting deadlines and quality standards.

Discovery & Insight

  • Collaborate with Learning Designers and senior graphic designers to understand content needs and visualize concepts.

  • Apply basic user experience and accessibility principles to support learner engagement.

  • Learn to interpret and incorporate feedback to improve visual content.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Project Managers, Learning Designers, and other creative team members to align design efforts with project goals and brand standards.

  • Participate in internal reviews and team meetings, contributing ideas and progress updates.

  • Support colleagues by assisting with briefs and maintaining design consistency.

Product Communications 

  • Communicate progress and challenges effectively within the design team and project groups.

  • Ensure all visual materials adhere to Learning Pool’s brand guidelines and accessibility standards.

Innovation & Growth

  • Develop skills by exploring design tools, techniques, and trends under mentorship.

  • Share learnings and best practices within the team.

  • Support quality assurance by assisting in design reviews and testing.

 

Who We Are Looking For

The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate:

  • Qualifications: You will hold a graduate-level qualification (or equivalent) in Art and Design or a related discipline.

  • Portfolio: You will have a portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design fundamentals and creativity.

  • Design tools: You will have basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, with familiarity in Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects considered advantageous.

  • Project management: You will have the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work to deadlines.

  • Communication skills: You will have good verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
